SIR30216 – Certificate III in Retail
This qualification reflects the role of individuals who engage with customers, maintain daily store operations and deliver on organisational expectations.
They have sound knowledge of product and service offerings.
Some individuals working at this level are responsible for supervising other team members and monitoring day-to-day workplace operations. It provides a pathway to work in a range of retail settings including specialty retailers, supermarkets, department stores and quick service restaurants.
HSC INFORMATION
This is a Board Developed Course. Students who complete the 240-hour course may sit for the optional HSC exam, and their marks may contribute to the calculation of their ATAR.
UNITS
To achieve this qualification, competency must be demonstrated in 13 units of competency:
- 8 core units; plus
- 5 elective units.
